In 2008, Kerry expanded and diversified her company to offer Management Services. In this new industry, she wanted to be able to support more artists who benefit from a variety of useful business management & transactional management services to aid in career guidance. She also continues to consult industry professionals, and small entertainment companies.
Kerry has had a career with an emphasis on event planning and marketing around live performances. Kerry has produced many events including her signature showcase The Strive For More Music Showcase. Kerry has worked on production for music videos; was the R&B and Hip Hop artist liaison and manager of Artist Publicity for the California Music Awards; taught music business 101 at the Seth Riggs Vocal Camp (LA); toured managed in support of soul singer, Ledisi; managed music venue Biscuits & Blues (SF) and did the performance bookings and marketing for Maxwell’s Lounge (Oakland) in its first 18 months of business.
Kerry was the Director of the San Francisco Chapter of NARIP (National Association of Record Industry Professionals) for three years founding and building up the chapter.
Currently, Kerry is an Adjunct Professor at San Francisco State University in the Music/ Recording Industry Program teaching Music Artist Management, Music Marketing and a special course in the Event Planning major: Music & Entertainment Event Management.
