What is the Strive For More Music Showcase?
The Strive For More Music Showcase is a quarterly presentation, which began January 26, 2007, of the best up-and-coming music artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each showcase will highlight a combination of developing artists and seasoned performers who are poised and prepared to ascend to a higher level in their career.
Continuous live music is played during the show by a house band comprised of the finest Bay Area musicians, and led by the musical direction of Grammy nominated producer Cori Jacobs (Pussycat Dolls, George Clinton, The Temptations). The talents of each artist is illuminated during their individual sets which include a mixture of original and cover songs.
Who is it for?
The Strive For More Music Showcase serves a threefold purpose: 1) to fill the void in the live performance arena for quality R&B vocalists; 2) to develop a venue for purveyors of live music; and 3) to establish a magnet for music industry professionals such as A&R reps and talent buyers who will use the showcase to scout talent, fraternize with peers, and congregate with artists.
Who runs it?
Kerry Fiero, president of Strive Management and former artist liaison for the California Music Awards, produces the event along with co-producer Gian Fiero, Commercial Music Authority/Independent A&R Specialist and former producer of the popular Oaktown Apollo Talent Show, bring a formidable blend of event production, talent development, marketing savvy, and decades of music industry experience to the success formula for the Strive For More Music Showcase.
Where is it held?
The Strive for More Music Showcase will be hosted at a variety of Bay Area venues. We will select the venue depending on the type of music we plan to showcase.
Future Shows
